Please note that this event is exclusively for children attending on that day to ensure we can maintain appropriate ratios. We plan to rotate the days throughout the year, giving everyone an opportunity to participate!

🌲 Forest School Weekly Highlights🌲

This week at Forest School, the children dove into a world of exploration and creativity, all while embracing the great outdoors. Here are some of the highlights:

1. Nature’s Kitchen🍳
- The Bunnies engaged in imaginative play, experimenting with “cooking” in the forest. This hands-on activity allowed them to explore textures and sounds while using their creativity.

2. Group Learning 📚
- Krista guided a group of excited children as they mixed and stirred in our outdoor “kitchen.” Collaborative learning encouraged social skills while having fun.

3. Tree Exploration🌳
- Curiosity soared as children learned about tree identification. They touched, felt, and discussed various tree features, fostering a connection with nature and an understanding of their environment.

4. Sensory Play 🎉
- Using natural materials, the children engaged their senses, developing fine motor skills and enjoying the tactile experience.

5. Reading Nook 📖
- The Owlets enjoyed stories in our outdoor reading nook. This not only sparked imagination but also reinforced literacy skills in a serene setting.

6. Swinging Fun⛅
- Laughter echoed through the trees as children swung joyfully, embracing the freedom of the outdoors. Swinging not only promotes physical activity but also enhances balance and coordination.

Each day brought new adventures and learning opportunities. We can’t wait to see what next week holds! 🌷
