Covid: Care home restrictions to be eased in England From Monday, there will be no limit on visits to care homes and self-isolation periods will be cut.

At the moment we are coming back from a difficult period over the last 12 months during the pandemic, so current workload will be approx 3 days however this may change as the business gets busier.

Kim has been diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive form of cancer called Sarcoma cancer. This form of cancer has never been treated successfully in the UK and is around a 1 in 1 million chance of getting it.

A go fund me page has been set up to try and raise money to get her to America for treatment. The initial assessment is $40,500.00 and is its her only hope and chance to beat the cancer.

Due to an increased demand, we are looking for a talented Health and Social Care Assessor in the Chorley area of Lancashire to join an exciting and expanding training company who specialise in delivering both a large range of short courses and the new RQF vocational qualifications levels 2, 3 & 5 to the Health and Social Care Sector.

As an assessor, you will be required to visit clients and deliver the stand alone RQF Diploma to a high standard to care staff from all over the North West. Your appointments will be pre-planned, saving travel time and making visits much more efficient. As our clients are mainly located within the North West, we are currently welcoming applications from people living in Chorley, Preston, Burnley, Bolton, Warrington, Southport, Liverpool, Blackpool and surrounding areas.

Who will you be joining?

This is a great opportunity to join a family run training company with a unique model for training in the care sector and over 30 years’ experience. We offer training from induction right through a range of short courses, diplomas and apprenticeships. Our aim is to raise the standard of care training to a high, consistent level whilst also making the training memorable and comprehensive.

What qualifications and experience are required for the role?

• An assessor qualification is essential (D32, D33, A1). A teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one) such as PTLLS is desirable;
• Experience in an assessor role for a minimum of 1 year;
• Experience in the care sector for a minimum of 1 year;
• It is essential that you hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Above all you will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised and hard-working individual who sets the highest standards and who has a passion for training in a sector that matters so much.
