⚽ South Ribble Football Tournament Success! ⚽

A huge well done to our Year 6 pupils following their fantastic performance in the South Ribble Football Tournament.

After competing every Thursday over the last three weeks, the team finished first in their group, ahead of seven other schools. Throughout the tournament, the pupils were a real credit to St Bede's, demonstrating excellent teamwork, determination and resilience in every match.

A special thank you to Mr Raby for accompanying and supporting the children throughout the competition, and to all the mums, dads and family members who came along to cheer the team on.

Well done, Team St Bede's! 🏆⚽💙

🌟 What a fantastic lunchtime at St Bede's today! 🌟

Our children have been having an amazing time exploring, creating and imagining together. From digging and building in the sandpit, climbing and balancing on the tyre park, and wheeling each other around in suitcases, to becoming secret agents on exciting missions, there has been no shortage of fun and adventure!

The creativity continued with dressing up, performing on the stage and bringing their imaginative ideas to life. It's wonderful to see so much teamwork, problem-solving, confidence and joy during playtime.

Yesterday, our Pupil Parliamentarians met with pupils from across the Clayton and Whittle Alliance to celebrate the success of our wildlife project.

At St Bede's, we have planted seeds and bulbs, created flower displays in recycled tyres, taken part in No Mow May, held a community gardening day, and earned a Climate Heroes Certificate for our efforts.

It was fantastic to see the positive impact schools have made on local wildlife. We're now looking forward to our next Alliance project, which will focus on encouraging drivers to slow down and keep children safe around our schools.

⚽️ Well done to our Year 6 football team who represented St Bede's brilliantly in the second round of the tournament at Bamber Bridge Sports Hub last night!

The team put in a fantastic effort, showing great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the evening. They secured an impressive win, battled hard for a draw, and narrowly missed out in another closely contested match.
