Let's Be Tutoring

It's been a busy summer for us with School's Out - Holiday Club. But we are ready to take bookings for September's small group tutoring sessions.

We have very limited availability with 3 spaces on a Wednesday at 4:30.

Sessions are 60 minutes long and are booked in half termly blocks.

When learning is practical, meaningful and fun, we always get the best results. Yes we made s'mores in our session this week but the confidence the children had when writing their own instructions was amazing! ⭐🔥 & Let's Be (😝) honest, who wouldn't want to end a session eating one of these 😉

We've been having lots of fun in our sessions recently, including making our very own insects and writing sentences to describe them and what they can do! Some super sentences were created ⭐

We are coming to the end of the school year but here at Let's Be, that doesn't bother us. We keep working hard because it doesn't matter what time of year it is! Although learning is even better when it's this much fun! 😆⭐📝

Creating opportunities for writing inspired by real life events provides children with ways to write about their own experiences and interests. It is engaging and makes it fun for the child. This week we have used photographs from half term, focusing on creating sentences with accurate full stops, capital letters and finger spaces. 📝

If you’re after some fun entertainment for the kids this half term, then head for Market Walk Chorley on Thursday 1 June, 10am – 4pm, for some pirate and princess themed fun! ☠️ 👸

Plus, there’ll be the carousel fairground ride (free of charge)!

📚COMPETITION TIME📚

Reading for pleasure is so important and something I always encourage. It gives children the opportunity to use their imagination to explore new ideas, visit new places and meet new characters. It can also improve children's wellbeing and empathy (Oxford Owl 🦉). Reading for pleasure gives children an insight into this amazing world around us! Research shows that reading for pleasure can be directly linked to children's successes throughout their time at school and even into adulthood!
