This morning our Rainbows enjoyed planting flowers in some surplus wellies and making a hanging basket. To add to their garden 🪴 🌈 🪏 💦

We used the scoop to fill the wellies with soil and then we chose which plant to use. We helped to water the plants using the watering can. We can't wait to see what colour the flowers are. 🌱🌸🌼🌺

🍽️ We’re Hiring a Nursery Cook (Maternity Cover) 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic nursery cook to join our team on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave. (16.5 hours per week)

What you’ll be doing:
• Preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for our little ones
• Catering for special dietary requirements and allergies
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
• work collaboratively with nursery staff to promote healthy eating habits
What we’re looking for:
• understanding of children’s nutritional needs
• Knowledge of food hygiene
• ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A friendly, reliable team player

Whilst it is recognised there are benefits to using screens it is best to limit this, instead you could:

🌈 This morning our rainbows had a walk to Chorley library. 📖

We enjoyed exploring all the different books and we listened to lots of wonderful stories. 📕

We loved waving at all the people we saw, and saying hi to the people in the library. We love our books! 😊 📚 🌈
