During our Tuesday Forest School session we bumped into Bella, the Harris Hawk.
Bella’s owners were very kind and brought her over to see us. They talked to us about Bella and showed us how the train her to come down from a tree to their hand (they had only had her for 4 days).
It was such a lovely surprise and a great chance for our children to learn about the natural world.
So thank you Bella’s owners if you’re reading this, you made our children (and me 😂) very happy and we are very grateful!

Our Ofsted inspection report is now available online, please click the link below to access it.
We got a “Good”.
The report highlights that our children have a zest for learning and how the respectful older children show care and consideration for our younger children. Parents have said the setting “feels more like a family than a nursery” and that they are lucky to have their children learn with us. Well, we’re all lucky to work at Coppull St John’s preschool and have a community of parents that support us as well as you guys do both past, present and (probably) future!

Hi everybody,
Most of our sessions are now full and we will only be able to offer very limited places for the rest of this academic year.
The waiting list for September is open and is filling up quickly. If you are looking for a place for a child between the ages of 1-4years old don’t hesitate to get in touch and get their name on the list.
Thanks,
Chris.

Happy Easter everybody!
Here are some pictures from our last day of term Easter celebrations organised by our Mrs Buckley!
We started the morning with an Easter egg hunt and egg and spoon races in the woods followed by nest cake making and paint the tail on the bunny in the afternoon.

Pet Week!
The children have loved bringing their pets in this week! It’s been a brilliant opportunity for them to learn about different animals, learn about each other’s lives and also teach our friends about our pets. The children (and pets) were so well behaved and we are so very proud of them!
We’ve had visits from Miss Hembrow’s Bella, Talulah’s rabbit Simon, Arthur’s dog Peanut, Alfie’s dog Gracie, Sophia’s dog Flinty, Mr Chris’s two dogs - Fred the spaniel and Kevin the Labrador puppy and lastly we’ve had Beth’s ferrets - Cinnamon and Ronnie!
Thank you to all the parents and grandparents for bringing in our furry friends!
