If you want to divide something by 18, first divide by 6 then divide the answer by 3. A lot easier!

When dividing decimals simply multiply the numerator and denominator by 10. This is called an Equivelant fraction. for example 3.6 divided by 0.3 is the same as 36 divided by 3. Try it for yourself?
