Today we were honoured to welcome The Right Honourable Sir Lindsay Hoyle to our school following the courageous advocacy work of Class 3.
Our pupils recently wrote thoughtful and passionate letters about the issue of speeding in our local area, showing just how powerful young voices can be when they stand up for their community. We are incredibly proud that their concerns were heard.
A huge thank you to Sir Lindsay Hoyle for taking the time to visit, listen to our children, and encourage them in making a difference. It was wonderful to see the Gospel in action through courage, compassion, and speaking up for others.
We are so proud of Class 3 for being shining examples of responsible citizens and courageous advocates for change. π

We are incredibly proud of Class Three, who have been working closely with families to make a real difference in our community π
As part of their efforts, the children have written letters to local councillors and Sir Lindsay Hoyle, raising their concerns and ideas about road safety. This is such a powerful example of young voices being heard and taking action.
We are proud to be working together with our community to help make our roads safer. So far, weβve already seen some positive changes β thank you to the community centre for lowering the hedges, which has made a big difference to visibility. We are also pleased to see 20mph signs added on Water Street, as well as our banner at St Church helping to raise awareness.
This is just the beginning. We will continue to work hard and will not rest until we see further improvements to support the safety of everyone in our community.
We look forward to hearing back from those in positions of responsibility and will keep pushing for change.
Well done, Class Three β you are making us all very proud π
