Today the babies enjoyed exploring our rice sensory tuff tray. They had lots of fun using paintbrushes to make different patterns and marks in the rice. πŸ–ŒοΈβœ¨

This activity was a lovely way to encourage fine motor skills, as the babies practised holding and moving the paintbrushes through the rice. They also enjoyed exploring the different textures and discovering the marks they could make. πŸ₯°

A lovely morning of sensory exploration, curiosity and learning through play! β€οΈπŸ‘Ά

Today the toddlers enjoyed a game of roll the ball. We all sat in a circle and waited for our name before the ball was rolled to us. Once we had the ball we got asked a question, such as " what animal lives in the sea? or what is your favourite colour?" This type of activity promotes listening and attention skills and Personal, social and emotional skills by teaching us about turn taking and sharing. Well done Toddlers πŸ“πŸ˜Š.

Today the babies have been busy exploring our lovely new play kitchen! They enjoyed using their imaginations as they prepared lots of pretend food for each other. πŸ₯•πŸŽπŸ₯£

It was wonderful to see the babies sharing, taking turns and offering food to their friends, creating some lovely little moments of social interaction and communication. πŸ₯°

Through this type of play, the babies are developing their social skills, communication, imagination and understanding of sharing and turn-taking, all while having lots of fun! ❀️

Today our babies have been getting creative and using their imaginations to make their very own drawings all over a big cardboard box! πŸ–οΈπŸ“¦

We then turned our decorated box into our very own mode of transport, and the babies had lots of fun sitting inside and pretending to go on a little adventure! 🚌✨

It was lovely to see their creativity, curiosity and imagination shine through as they explored, created and had lots of fun together. πŸ’•πŸŒˆ

Today is national lion day day so to celebrate the toddlers have made lion masks using paint and looking at pictures of Lions whilst we were painting them. We also read stories about Lions, our favourite was the Lion inside, we also sang songs about Lions.
All these activities contribute to our physical development, social interactions and understanding the world. Well done Toddlers. πŸ˜€πŸ¦.

Today in the garden the children have been exploring different ways to move, balancing, jumping and going on tiptoes. We even created an obstacle course for them with the children helping. Then with some adult support we made our way across the course by balancing on wooden planks and tyres, then on to the stepping stones. The children really enjoyed doing this and they got more confident and independent the more they did the course. Some of them did this without adult help well done everyone πŸ˜€πŸ“β˜€οΈ

What a fantastic day in the garden! 🌞🫧

Our preschool children had so much fun creating a foam explosion! They helped to mix all the ingredients before watching the foam come to life. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and messy fun as everyone got involved. Learning through play is always the best kind of learning!
