Strawberry Fields Nursery and Preschool

Today we enjoyed a Father’s Day themed tuff tray with blue cornflour. We loved getting messy, exploring the different textures, and using our senses through play🩵💙

Over the last few days, the babies have had lots of fun exploring our nature garden. They loved digging in the soil, searching for interesting things to find, and looking at the beautiful flowers growing around them. There were lots of smiles and excitement as the children got busy in the mud kitchen, mixing, pouring, and creating their own muddy masterpieces. The babies also enjoyed using watering cans to give the flowers a drink, helping to care for our garden. It has been a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore, investigate, and learn through hands-on play outdoors.🌼🌼☀️☀️

Our journey back from the play centre. We have has so much fun today making amazing memories with our friends and teachers. From face painting, eating party food, playing outside, dancing, spinning on the equipment, zooming down the fast blue slides.
We have been so busy all day and full of excitement, we haven't stopped. On our way back we looked out of the windows spotting what we could see and remember from our journey there. We did have lots of very tired children from a super busy day.
We are so proud of each and everyone of the children today for their best behaviour, manners but most of all too see how happy they have been. We cannot wait for more celebrations.

pre school graduation part 1.

Today our school leavers joined in with the first part of their graduation celebrations. We went to the play centre at Blackpool.
We have had so much fun exploring the play centre from sliding down slides, playing football, bouncing on the trampoline, climbing up the frames, playing with the big space balls and even having our faces painted.
We have made so many amazing memories today with our friends we can't wait to continue the celebrations over the next month.
it has been a lovely way to spend our last few weeks with our friends.

Our preschoolers have had a wonderful day exploring Mexican culture through food, creativity, and lots of fun. The children thoroughly enjoyed tucking into a delicious lunch of chilli and rice with crunchy nachos, and there were plenty of smiles all around!😊

We also got our artistic hats on and made some brilliant taco crafts, using our fine motor skills and imaginations to design our very own tasty-looking tacos.🌮

A fun-filled day of learning, crafting, and trying new foods – well done, everyone! ♥️🍓

Thoughtful Tuesday. A little treat for the staff to enjoy. 🙂

This morning the children in toddler room have been exploring our new chalk board, they enjoyed making marks with the chalk and then using paint brushes to wipe the board clean. This is a great way to develop fine motor skills. 😀

This morning the babies noticed airplanes flying in the sky through the window ✈️ They showed lots of excitement by pointing and looking up at the planes. Following their interest, we then watched airplanes together on the tablet.
We talked about the big planes and the small planes, the different colours we could see, and how the planes fly high in the sky. The babies enjoyed watching the airplanes and listening to simple words and conversations throughout the activity 😊
This experience supported the babies’ communication and language, curiosity, and understanding of the world through following their interests and exploring new things around them.

The toddlers have had lots of fun this morning exploring the sensory tray with sea creatures. As the weather has been so warm lately we thought we would cool down with a little water play and learn all about sea creatures as we were doing so 😀🍓❤️.

Today we have been enjoying lots of lovely water play to help keep cool in the hot weather! ☀️💦

The babies had so much fun splashing in the water, making each other laugh, and exploring all the different water activities. There were lots of smiles, giggles, and happy faces throughout the day as the children enjoyed splashing and cooling down together 🌞☺️
