There’s no better feeling than being at home 🥰

After leaving the house at 6am yesterday morning, and arriving back home at 7:15pm tonight, it was so nice to be greeted by “MUMMY!!!!” with lots of hugs and kisses. Plus, also came home to a roast chicken dinner 😋

IPDD 2026!

True to form, I was terrible with photos yesterday at our annual conference 😂 but in my defence, it was a jam packed day!

My amazing BSL teacher Fletch came to do some singing with us all, it was great to see her in real life rather than behind the screen! Although made me feel very nervous about signing to her in person 😂

You may see a shiny award in my hand on the second photo… I was voted runner up for best TinyTalk Toddler teacher 🥰 what a recognition of the hard work I put in for the families that come to me, so grateful! Crazy toddlers, this one is for you 💜

And then last night it was party time, where we let our hair down and learnt some Scottish dancing from some of our Scottish teachers. As you can see, myself and Emma | TinyTalk Baby Signing | South Manchester didn’t fully get the steps and ended up dragging each other around like rag dolls 😂

Now onto today, up and ready for a day of training… I’ll share more details later about the exciting new string to my bow 🎉

😴 Very early alarms set for in the morning 😴

It’s the annual TinyTalk international professional development day tomorrow and I’m doing a very special training day on Sunday (more to be revealed soon… early years settings in the local area should be very excited!). So a super early start for me!

I’m looking forward to catching up with the wider TinyTalk family! I’ll hopefully remember to take lots of photos to share with you all 💜

We have some sickness and holidays this week and class families have kindly gifted their spots. You are welcome to come along free of charge with your little ones at the following baby signing classes:

Thursday - 11am-12pm - St Wilfrids, Standish - 2 SPACES
Friday - 11:15am-12:15pm - Bowling Green, Charnock Richard - 2 SPACES

These are perfect for people who have been wanting to try TinyTalk classes for the first time, people who may have a rare day off work and want to fill their morning with fun, a grandparent who is looking after little ones, and everyone else in between! Classes suitable for children 0-2 years.

My BSL level 2 certificate arrived in the post yesterday 🙌🏻

And last night I officially started my level 3 course! Here’s to lots of hard work and learning new skills 💜

🥁 I HAVE SOME BIG NEWS TO SHARE… 🥁

Last week I found out the BEST news… I HAVE OFFICIALLY PASSED MY BSL LEVEL 2! 🙌🏻🎉🤟🏻

I am SO proud of myself! 🥹💜

This has taken a lot of hard work, studying, practicing and determination, all while running TinyTalk, being a Mum and juggling everything else that comes with life!

I chose to do my BSL studies because I want to keep learning, developing and improving my knowledge, so I can give my TinyTalk families the best possible experience, information and support when they come along to my classes.

And I’m definitely not stopping here…

Next week I start BSL Level 3! 🤟🏻

So, another year of studying, practicing, exams and probably plenty of moments wondering “WHY did I sign up for this again?!” 😂 thanks to everyone around me who picks up the flack when I’m doing my classes, it really does take a village!

But I’m excited to learn more, challenge myself and continue developing my signing skills.

Level 2 — DONE. ✅
Level 3 — LET’S DO THIS! 💪🏻🤟🏻💜
