We have spaces!

With some of our current cohort all grown up and ready to leap into to the world of big school 😭 we have a very limited number of full day spaces available for early years (age 0-3).

The spaces will be coming available from the beginning of Summer term (April 2026) and possibly again in July.

We are open all year round from 8am - 5pm

Based in choppington just down from the half moon pub

we are OFSTED registered, fully insured and paediatric first aid trained.

Pop me a message if your interested in a space or would like to book a visit.

Witchy brew 🧙‍♀️✨️

Our little ones practiced some very exciting magic for Halloween!

We filled up cartons of water and found that the water magically changed colour inside! We used lots of methods to tip and pour and scoop our magical water into different containers and we soon learned that we could mix our magical colours to make brand new colours 🤗

We love a bunch of flowers and our littles always have some exciting new ideas on how to make the most of them!

We plucked the petals and felt the different textures, we inspected the leaves and talked about what colours we saw, we dropped them in water and stirred them around and made some beautiful flower soup!

We made our own Playdough!

We had a super sensory playdough party recently when we made our very own playdough from scratch using flour, oil and water!

We kneeded and rolled and squashed and squeezed until it was a lovely consistency then added in some our natural resources to make pictures in the dough. Some children added lovely herbs 🌿 some children used the dough the balance things in, some children used their fingers to make patterns in the dough and watched to see the marks they could make and the imprints they could leave behind!

Snack time with a twist today! We picked up a wonky fruit and veggie basket from the supermarket and turned it into a super snack experience with our expert choppers and tasters 👨‍🍳😋

We had lots of fun exploring the different shapes and textures with some dimpley lemons, some fuzzy kiwi and some soft apricot!

We peeled and chopped and of course taste tested, even the sour lemon was enjoyed 🍋😅

We had the most fantastic adventure in the woodland today! We are taking part in "30 days wild" by the wildlife Trust who have some fantastic free resources available online like our sensory bingo card and our butterfly and animal spotter cards! Our litte ones explored lots of sights, smells and feels! We hunted mini beasts, smelled flowers, listened for the buzzing of the bees and the tweets of the birds, and of course it wouldn't be a woodland walk without some jumping in puddles!! 🌿🪱🐝🌻

We have been having so much fun in the Garden! We experimented with colours by mixing paint, we stirred and swirled it around with our hands and paintbrushes and watched the colours change, we got super creative and practiced our mark making skills in the paint with our fingers 😊 We practiced our drawing with our HUGE new chalks, the children loved attempting to hold them and use them to draw as they were super heavy too so some extra skills required 💪

We had the most amount of fun ever this week with a beautiful bunch of flowers 💐 The children absolutely loved all the different colours and shapes, we did lots of smelling which was very fun! We made sure to explore each flowers shape and colour, it's texture and its smell! We extended our play by making some beautiful flower soup 🤗 We plucked petals, we added lots of lovely smelling herbs and spices, we scooped and whisked and mashed and stirred!
