We had some wonderful sessions with Dave from Cholsey Bluebirds Rising Stars, thank you so much Dave.
For anyone interested in joining Rising Stars, Dave has let us know that the first session of the new season will be on Saturday 29th August and every Saturday after.
He would be thrilled to see as many children as possible - there is no limit.

We want to do a post of appreciation for some of our committee members and parents.
Thank you to Anthony, our Committee Chair, for putting up these two wonderful storage sheds at Pre-School.
Thank you to Charlotte's mum, Henry's mum and Thea's mum for doing tip runs for us.
Our outside area is starting to take shape and will be treasured for many years.
Thank you to Daisy, our chief fundraiser, for all her hard work raising much needed funds for Pre-School that is then used for equipment and resources.
Thank you to our committee, parents and carers who continue to support us.

We had some exciting developments during the half term in the pond.
First appeared a froglet then a few days later we saw some baby frogs hopping around in a plant pot! 😀

If your little one was born between September 2023 and 31st August 2024 and you would like them to attend Cholsey Pre-School in September 2027 then please do fill in a registration form and send it to us.
We can then contact you when we start allocating sessions for that Cohort and let you know if we are able to offer sessions any earlier.

We have been watching and learning about a frogs lifecycle by speaking about it at Pre-School as well as looking at pictures and videos from Kirsties pond.
The latest update is the tadpoles have their back legs! Hopefully we will see the front legs appear soon 😀

Oxford Health's Smile 360 team are currently conducting a survey running from April to July, inviting parents and carers of children aged 2-5 yrs to answer a short set of questions about their children’s oral health. The findings will help us better understand local needs and target our approach more effectively.

Nature based learning.
From sewing seeds, planting up our herbs, adding a water station for insects, playing with sand, learning about frogs and tadpoles to hapa zome printing. 😊
