Merry Christmas to all my students and their families! 🎄✨

The last week of teaching in my piano studio was filled with Christmas songs and festive, Christmas-themed activities. This term has been a busy one, with learning new concepts, polishing piano technique, going over scales again and again, and developing sight-reading skills.

Huge congratulations to Noah for passing his Grade 5 with Distinction, and to Tima for passing his Grade 2 with Distinction — well done, boys! 👏🎹

This week was filled with fun Halloween-themed activities!
The game Pumpkin-Pumpkin was a great hit! 🎃

This summer was warm, sunny, and truly memorable. I was fortunate to spend some time at a lovely hotel in Mallorca, where one of the guests happened to be a professional pianist. One evening, he gave a beautiful performance that filled the air with music and created a wonderful atmosphere. It was an inspiring experience, and a reminder of how special live music can be.

I’m very much looking forward to welcoming all my students back from their summer break, so that together we can continue to share our love for music.

I have been surrounded by music from early years and I was lucky to receive an excellent music education back in Russia. We did not just learn to play an instrument, we did many music related subjects to help us to grow into the musicians. One of them was a music literature where we studied different periods and learned about the composers.

Recently I went to the Music and Drama Expo in London and discovered this amazing educational tool.

New half term is going to be very exciting and busy for my pupils!

At the last lesson of this year we did loads of simple duets sight reading. I think boys did a great job but most of all we had so much fun and laughter!🎄🎉🎊
