They laughed and pointed, filled with delight,

The start of a new School term and a new era!
One of my little monkeys who was supposed to be at School but got the jitters on day 2!! He had a wonderful day helping his Mama and her fabulous team getting the Nursery ready. He immersed himself in to creative activities. I appreciate that the transition from the School holidays can be tricky for these little people. However, it’s also a wonderful journey of independence and exploration. It’s hard sometimes to know what, ‘the right thing’ to do is sometimes. But all I do know is a little patience, a lot of love and a whole lot of patience helps! 🌳💚🧚‍♂️🍃⭐️🌈

Painting in the forest today, what a lovely and simple activity with beautiful results! The children were happily mixing colours, layering the paint, chatting and enjoying the freedom that creative activities offer.
At Green Twigs it is always the process we are most interested in, not the end result. However, I think you will agree these paintings are rather beautiful ❤️🧡💛

When the ‘big children’ come for their forest school session and they’ve made a chariot, our little ones really enjoyed having a look and asking them how they made it. Wonderful to see the two age groups interacting and sharing their ideas!
Thanks to for funding these sessions for the school children. It’s the first time that the children from Year 6 at Southfield Primary School have come to the forest and are thoroughly enjoying the environment. We played, ‘the floor is lava’ in two teams; working out how to get from one end of the forest to the middle using up to ten objects without anyone touching the floor. Fires were made, cowboy bread was cooked, tools were used to make a variety of things but most of all, a lot of fun was had by all! 💚🌳🍃

Watching true friendships blossom at the Nursery is a joy to see 💚🌿 thank you for this lovely quote!
