I would like to announce that I have closed Sally's House Childminding. I have been open for almost 9 years and have loved and cared for many children, who will always be in my heart. Thank you all those who have followed my page, I do hope I have inspired others to consider childminding, it is a wonderful career however it is the time now for myself and my family for new beginnings. Some fun from the last two weeks. Lots of garden play, we also went to IKEA on a scavenger hunt where they loved following the arrows, trips to westonbirt, wildplace where we got so close to Lena's and Bristol museum by bus. We had a baking day, a fun bouncy castle day, potion making, painting bubble wrap, roll on the next few weeks of summer.

What a gorgeous two weeks it's been, loads of garden play with a treasure hunt in the sand pit, exploring things on the slope with water, making mud pies with rice crispies, exploring how food colouring changes gloop and of course the paddling pool. We also had trips to Slimbridge, jump, the new grommit store as well as visiting Alpacas. Oh and we held a sports day with another wonderful childminder.

Some highlights from the last couple of weeks, the children have enjoyed matching the numbers on the cars and are loving my new dolls house, we've visited Bristol museum, a lovely garden centre, Bristol zoo, we've had a lavender theme day which was wonderful for the sense's, lots of garden play experimenting with water, chalks and safe water beads and my new sand pit is a huge hit.

I haven't posted in a while as I've had a week off in France. Heres some photos from the last two weeks. With a trip to Weston on the train, Bristol Zoo, pond dipping and lots of garden play. I'll be developing my sandpit area over the next few weeks which I'm excited about.

Such a fun week, it started with a bus trip to the Aquarium and even a ride on the big wheel, we also went to Westonbirt where we played with bubbles and clay. We explored insects, and made face pictures and went puddle jumping.

Some photos from the last couple of weeks, we've been to Hengrove Park twice, we've had lovely garden days, started making cards to send to the queen, visited Westonbirt and Bristol Museum.

Wow what an amazing two weeks. We've been to Slimbridge, the Aquarium, M Shed, Bristol Zoo, had an Easter party day, been to Bristol Aerospace, had a beach day and also wildplace. WOW

Some photos from this and last week. Trips out to the aquarium, beach, zoo and westonbirt, as well as gymnastics and library, garden play and playgroups, always so busy and welcome to our new chickens.

This week we looked at St Patrick's day, with counting, scooping, pouring rice, using tweezers and matching. We had a wonderful day at the beach, went gymnastics and played with my new mud kitchen.

We met some lovely goats this week, in fact visited them twice and also saw lots of trains whilst we played in a field in the lovely fresh air. We explored flowers with numbers and also had a lovely day at Westonbirt.

Lots of pancake ingredient exploring and eating this week, we also went into Bristol by bus to the Aquarium, we had lots of fun singing of the Bus.
