My first lesson of 2026 was via early morning Zoom call to Milan. My student has been visiting family there for Christmas and I’ve been loving all the photos of both city and mountains, as well as getting an update on how things are going with speaking and understanding the language.

A "holiday Italian" style course for complete beginners; no prior linguistic knowledge necessary! Suitable for all adults. Each class includes coffee and Italian pastries/biscuits.

This term sees two extra classes added to the schedule at the end of September; our popular Holiday Italian course and a brand new Rusty French course.

Rusty French:
This is for those with some previous French (perhaps even at A level), but who worry they’ve forgotten most of it and would like to build confidence through structured conversation in a friendly group setting.

Holiday Italian:
In September? Yes! Now is the perfect time to start if you’re planning a trip for next year. Even without travel plans in place, this course can be taken on its own as a fun introduction to the language and culture of Italy, but can also be the starting point of further studies. 100% of our last two courses enjoyed it so much that they signed up for the next course!

Is one of your New Year’s resolutions to learn a language? Our next “holiday Italian” class for beginners starts on January 25th. This is a friendly in-person class that includes caffè & cornetti/biscotti at each session and the chance to meet others interested in the language and culture of Italy. 🇮🇹 ☕️🥐

Did you know that all of our in-person language classes come with the option to join by Zoom too if you can’t make it one week? I love it when students still join the class when they’re on holiday and we get to see where they are and hear about their travels. This week a couple from the beginners class Zoomed in from their motorhome en route to beautiful Lago di Garda where they will hopefully be testing out their new Italian language skills! 🇮🇹
