I became an Ofsted Registered Childminder in January 2011 having previously spent fifteen years working within Recruitment and Sales Account Management. Although my previous career was financially rewarding, I have never felt so personally rewarded than I do now, since becoming a Childminder and experiencing the rich rewards that I receive through working with children. I have been very fortunate
to build close relationships with both the children that I care for and their parents and I have never felt happier in what I am doing. Everyday is completely different and I thoroughly enjoy interacting with the children, helping them to develop their skills and ability through play, learning and exploration and above all encouraging and helping the children to be provided with new experiences. I currently care for a variety of different aged children during various different days and hours across Monday to Thursday, including all half term, summer school holidays and teacher training days. I have gained experience of being a mum to my boys and have gained various experience of working with children over time, including helping to care for children with special needs as a volunteer during the summer holidays with the Bath Area Play Project (B.A.P.P)
