Returning to exercise after having a baby isn’t always as straightforward as we expect.
Sometimes your body needs more time. Sometimes recovery doesn’t go to plan. And sometimes the hardest part is knowing how to start again.

This lovely mum joined my postnatal Pilates classes after experiencing a pelvic floor injury following birth. Her healing journey is still ongoing, but she told me she feels so much stronger for coming each week.
That’s what I want these classes to offer.
A safe and supportive place to move, gradually rebuild strength and learn to trust your body again — without feeling like you need to “bounce back” or push through symptoms.
And yes, there’s usually plenty of chatting, feeding, baby wrangling and the occasional poonami thrown in too! 😂

September Mum & Baby Pilates is now open for bookings.

If you’re newly postnatal and wondering where to start, come and join us.

✨ Mum & Bub Equipment Pilates is back next term! ✨

If you’re looking for a postnatal class where you feel supported, challenged and understood, I’d love to welcome you.
These classes are led by me—a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist—and every exercise is tailored to your body and your stage of recovery. Whether you’ve had a vaginal birth or a C-section, are rebuilding your core, recovering from abdominal separation or prolapse, or working towards getting back to running, you’ll be in safe hands.
Using the Pilates Tower and Chair, we’ll build strength, improve flexibility and help you feel more confident in your body again—all with your baby by your side.
And it’s about so much more than exercise. It’s a chance to meet other local mums, get out of the house and spend an hour investing in yourself in our beautiful rural studio.
✨ Next term is now open for booking.
✨ Only 4 spaces remain.
Send me a message if you’d like to know whether the class is right for you, or book your place before they’re gone!

We had a brilliant family day out at the Commonwealth Games on Monday…

The kids loved soaking up the atmosphere, cheering on athletes and watching some incredible performances. But before we’d even made it into the stadium, something else caught my eye.

“1 in 3 women quit sport due to bladder leaks.”

As a pelvic health physio, I was really pleased to see such a visible campaign. Raising awareness is the first step, but I hope women don’t stop at buying a pad.

If you’re leaking when you’re active, it’s a sign that something isn’t working as it should. You don’t just have to manage the symptoms – a pelvic health assessment could be the real game changer.

Many women are told that leaking after having children—or as they get older—is “normal”. It may be common, but that doesn’t mean it’s something you have to live with.

Whether your goal is a Commonwealth medal, a 5k, a Pilates class, or simply running around after your children without worrying about leaks, you deserve to move with confidence.

Here’s to keeping women in sport—for life. 💜
