Children often do things that perhaps don’t make sense to us as adults 👇🏼

It’s believed that children have something called “play schemas” which are essentially repeated behaviours that are demonstrated through play.

Play schemas provide children with a framework for exploring and understanding the world around them.

At Forest Nursery, we will always take the time to understand the children’s perspective, promoting a supportive environment for their diverse interests and development 🥰💚

Let’s talk about motor skills and coordination 👇🏼

Pushing small toy vehicles helps babies develop their motor skills and coordination.

Beyond motor skills, it also fosters cognitive development as babies learn cause and effect by seeing the toy move in response to their actions 🚗🚂

This invitation to play can also encourage social interaction if they're playing with others, promoting communication and cooperation even in these early stages 🥰💚
