What an incredible five weeks we’ve had at Shields and Dragons Holiday Camp!

From the very first day to the last, our summer was packed with laughter, excitement, and unforgettable memories. We hope you and your children enjoyed every moment as much as we did.

This summer’s themes were a huge hit, and we’re so grateful to all the families who joined us. Whether it was board games, outdoor sports, water play, jewellery making, tie dye, arts and crafts, or our epic 4-in-a-row championship—there was never a dull moment.

The children also enjoyed mini world play, playdoh, Lego, carnival games, princess and superheroes days, farm adventures, dinosaur activities, gymnastics, the bouncy castle, fossil making, UNO championships, loom bands, Hama beads, and so much more!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our fantastic Shields and Dragons staff, whose energy and dedication made this summer so special.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in October the dates will be announced soon, so keep an eye out for updates!

Week 4 at Shields and Dragons Holiday Camp was a super-powered, magical adventure! Despite the tricky heat, our team managed everything smoothly by following our guidelines and keeping everyone safe and comfortable.

Campers enjoyed their favourite garden games, including giant Four in a Row, and big Jenga. Sports sessions were still energetic with football, basketball, and cricket, and extra inflatable fun added to the excitement.

This week’s arts and crafts theme was “Princesses and Superheroes.” The children loved getting creative with Playdoh, and cork and straw painting was a huge hit. Everyone’s imagination was in full swing!

Although we couldn’t have a water fight due to the hose pipe ban, we still found ways to enjoy water games and activities, keeping cool and having fun.

We’re nearly at the end of our amazing summer! Just one more week left with limited spaces available. If you’d like to join us for the final week, please book soon!

Shields and Dragons Holiday Camp – Week 3 Recap

Week 3 at Shields and Dragons Holiday Camp was packed with excitement and new experiences!

We have seen 100+ children attending this week and the campers have continued to enjoy our much-loved garden games, smash ball on the mini trampoline, giant Four in a Row, and big Jenga, bringing everyone together for laughter and friendly challenges.

This week, the fun got even bigger with extra inflatable activities that everyone loved! Our sports sessions featured football, basketball, and cricket. There was plenty of energy, teamwork, and great memories made.

The arts and crafts theme for Week 3 was “Dinosaurs and Volcanoes.” The children created amazing dinosaur and volcano art, and instead of puppet making, they crafted fantastic salt dough fossils to take home.

Although there was no water fight this week, the campers still had a brilliant time with all the outdoor and indoor activities, making new friends and building confidence.

We still have limited spaces for the upcoming weeks. Don’t forget, our system may show as fully booked due to an error, but slots are available just limited so please just get in touch!

Shields and Dragons Holiday Camp – Week 2 Recap

Week 2 at Shields and Dragons Holiday Camp has been another fantastic adventure! Our campers enjoyed all the favourite garden games, including smash ball on the mini trampoline, giant Four in a Row, and big Jenga, which brought everyone together for fun and laughter.

Sports took centre stage this week, with energetic games of football, basketball, and cricket. The children showed great teamwork and sportsmanship outdoors.

Our arts and crafts theme was "Mermaids and Pirates," sparking creativity with colourful projects and imaginative designs. Over 30 incredible tie dye creations added even more colour to the week!

We kept the water fun going with creative activities that ensured we didn’t waste water, and the smiles were just as big as ever.

It’s been wonderful to see new friendships forming and everyone getting involved. There are still spaces available for the upcoming weeks—please remember that while our system may show as fully booked, this is an error, and we do have slots open.

Shields and Dragons Holiday Camp – Week 1 Recap (At the Farm)
What an amazing start to our holiday camp! Week 1 at Shields and Dragons has wrapped up, and we’ve had a fantastic time welcoming both familiar faces and new friends. It’s been wonderful to see how quickly everyone settled in and started making connections.
We introduced some exciting new garden games this week, which have been a huge hit! Smash ball on our mini trampoline, a giant Four in a Row (with plenty of friendly staff vs. kids challenges), and our big Jenga set kept everyone entertained. There’s been no shortage of laughter and friendly competition!
Our arts and crafts sessions were a highlight, with creative tractor, animal, and sunflower art inspired by this week’s “On the Farm” theme. The children also made some fantastic tie-dye creations and finished the week by designing their own brilliant puppets. Our loom bands, Playdoh and hamma beads have gone down a treat again in week 1.
Of course, there was plenty of sport, both indoors and outdoors, and our epic water battle brought out lots of smiles and memories.

Early drop-off (08:30) & late pick-up (16:00) available!
