Our Ducks 🦆🐣🐤

We had the pleasure of hatching Duckings. This has been an amazing experience for the children, staff team and parents.
Watching them grow and caring for them has not only been a wonderful learning experience but a great boost to everyone’s wellbeing
The smiles, laughter and joy they have created has been magical.
We have loved watching their personalities and watching their first swims.
We will miss them a lot but can’t wait for the updates from their new home 🐤

At Buds that blossom we believe in the importance on continuous professional development.
A big congratulations to Sara and Claire for successfully completing the Early Years professional development programme. They have both thoroughly enjoyed the course and have gained a wealth of knowledge which we will use to support and enrich practice throughout the nursery.

The programme provides support for practitioners to:

⭐️Improve skills to identify children at risk of speech, language and communication needs.

⭐️ Provide an understanding of the theory of child development in early mathematics.

⭐️ Develop skills to support children’s self-confidence, relationships, and self-awareness through expertly developed Personal, Social and Emotional Development training.

⭐️ Improve engagement with parents and carers to support the home learning environment.

This week we are focusing on Earth Day, and we have been busy this morning exploring the world around us and how to look after it. We spoke lots about what the planet looks like, where we live on it, and learned facts about the solar system throughout. The children used green and blue play dough to make their own Earth, and added little photos of themselves to live on their creation! 🌎🌍🌏

A huge congratulations to Jimi for completing the Marathon in 4hrs 50! He absolutely smashed it! We are all so proud of what he has achieved for a wonderful cause!

Jack’s family are incredibly grateful to Jimi, for running for Muscular Dystrophy UK and their family fund Backing Super Jack.

Jack’s family went to London to cheer Jimi on and it was quite an adventure and their first experience at the London Marathon! After missing Jimi at the first check point and Jimi not seeing them at the next, they finally caught up at the post race reception...Jimi, we have no idea how you managed to still have so much energy after running a marathon, but you did and Jack was so happy to see his buddy.

The funds that go towards research and therapeutics for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, put simply, are critical! And we can't thank you enough, Jimi!🥇

Happy 2nd Birthday to Buds That Blossom Chinnor!

We are incredibly proud of how far we have come and what we have achieved so far. We are still at the beginning of the journey and we are looking forward to the next year, with lots of exciting times ahead!

I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to the team for their dedication, amazing ideas, passion, support, and most of all the love they give every day! It’s the team that make our nursery feel like home! Something you cannot create without a family 💜💜

The children in Baby Buds loved playing in the shaving foam and chai seeds in the tray. We mixed all the colours in to the foam and watched what happens as they started to mix the seeds in.
