To kick start our Sports Week we had a climbing wall come in for all our children to have the opportunity to climb if they wanted to. Most children (and a few Teachers!) did it and loved it.

Tomorrow we have a capoeira workshop - photos to follow.

This week is sports week, the children will be doing a range of activities.

Monday - Climbing wall
Tuesday - Capoeira
Wednesday - Kurling
Thursday - Caving
Friday - Sports Day

ALL children (Reception - year 6) are required to come into school in their PE kit and Trainers all week. Friday please can they come to school in black shorts and their house colour T-Shirt.

Caretaker Vacancy

Mill Lane community Primary School is a friendly, community school in Chinnor. We are looking for a committed individual with a positive and flexible work ethic to manage our site.

Responsibilities include ensuring that the school premises / grounds and its contents are properly maintained, secured and ready for use. It involves undertaking such tasks as maybe necessary for effective site management e.g. carrying out minor repairs, keeping the site clear, supervising deliveries on the premises and supporting the school in fulfilling its health and safety obligations.

Handyman and practical skills to carry out repairs is essential.

The hours of work are negotiable; however, the school’s preferred hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 1.30pm during school term time only.

Training will be given as required.

Salary Details: £11.81 per hour

The successful candidate will need to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, due to the fact that this post involves having access to children.

🏆 W I N N E R S 🏆

YAY! After a lot of years, Mill Lane brought the trophy back where it belongs!

Today after school the annual Partnership Sports event (KS2) took place. All the children that took part did an absolutely fantastic job and ran their socks off!!! It was lovely to see so many children, who weren’t participating, supporting their school - Thank you!

A big Thank You to Mr Davies who works very hard during PE lessons, break times and lunch times, preparing them for these events.

Thank you to all parents, grandparents, family and friends who came along to support too.

Well Done Mill Lane, we are all super proud ♥️
