We have been awarded the GOLD Award from ESSA for our efforts in “going above and beyond” in our provision of swimming. Every child from Y1-Y6 has swimming lessons every year. Very grateful to all the staff who expertly contribute to our offer.

Here’s something to cheer you up! We’re all sad that England couldn’t quite bring it home….but TeamSVSJ did! After navigating a knockout competition that lasted 9 months, involved over 30 schools and ended in a superb 4-2 win in the final: BANES Girls Football Champions 2026 🏆⚽️🥇 Congratulations to the players, coach Mrs Mounter and thank you to all the staff and parents who supported along the way.

What a production! Gentian Class delivered a treat for us all with their Stranger Things-inspired performance of “The Wrong Way Round” full of brilliant songs, choreography and costumes. Thank you as ever to the hard-working staff who make it all happen- Mrs Mounter & Mrs Phillips- to the parents for supporting, Bath Forum for providing an excellent venue and most of all the confidence and character of each child who gave so much to this wonderful performance.

Well done to the netball team for their final match of the year (and primary 😢) against OPJS. It was a tough match but they played their hearts out. Unfortunately, they didn’t come away with a win this time but should be proud to have reached the semi-finals.

A fantastic performance by the choir tonight at Somerset Music Singing Festival at Wookey Hole Theatre. The children sang two of their own songs and then united with other schools for a massed singing finale🎵

A big thank you to Mrs Mounter for her work with the choir this year.
