There’s something special about homemade pastry. This week our young chefs are making a beautiful cherry lattice pie, learning how to rub in butter, prepare a fruity filling, and weave the classic lattice top.
It’s a wonderful recipe for building confidence, patience, and precision, and the finished pies look absolutely amazing.

Golden little parcels of goodness ✨🥟

This week our young chefs are making vegetable empanadas filled with potato, spinach, peas, and cheese.

They’re learning how to roll pastry, fill carefully, fold, seal, and create beautifully golden bakes from scratch.

Hands on cooking, lots of concentration, and very proud little chefs by the end of the lesson.

This week’s recipe: Homemade Spring Rolls 🥢✨

Our young chefs are making spring rolls using stir-fry vegetables, spring roll pastry, and simple seasonings like soya sauce and sweet chilli.

They’re learning how to roll, fold, and seal their own spring rolls before baking them in the oven, keeping them lighter and healthier.

Hands on, fun to make, and even better to eat.

These are always a favourite.
