Last week, Reception and Nursery were excited to welcome a visit from the Police, and today it was the Army's turn!

The children loved learning about the important jobs these people do to help our community. Today they even had the chance to practise their marching skills, which was great fun! Thank you to our visitors for giving the children such memorable experiences.

Step back in time for Year 6!

As part of their WWII history topic, our Year 6 children came to school today dressed as evacuees. They looked fantastic and fully embraced the experience, helping to bring their learning about the Second World War to life.

A huge thank you to our families for their support in providing such wonderful costumes and helping to make the day so memorable for the children.

A Week of Learning and Leadership at St Joseph's!

This week, 3 of our 4 Faith Council representatives took part in National Leadership Training, contributing thoughtfully to discussions and activities. The experience helped develop their confidence and leadership skills, supporting them in leading assemblies and being positive role models within our school community.

We were also delighted to welcome Father Paul to St Gabriel Class yesterday. He shared his fascinating book featuring incredible Hubble Telescope images of space and information about the Voyager 1 satellite. The children were captivated and even had the opportunity to look through a high-powered telescope, bringing the wonders of space a little closer to home!

What a great way to begin the day! Our Boxfit team have been building their fitness, coordination, confidence and resilience while having lots of fun. It's wonderful to see so much enthusiasm and energy so early in the morning!

What a fantastic first week back.
It has been wonderful to welcome all of our pupils back to school and especially to greet new children and families joining our school community.
The classrooms have been full of smiles, enthusiasm and excitement for learning, we are already seeing our children settle in brilliantly.
Thank you to all our parents and carers for your support. We are looking forward to a fantastic year ahead.

🏏 Good Luck, Mr Lehmann! 🏏

Today we said a fond farewell to Mr Lehmann during a special school assembly. Children put their cricket knowledge to the test in a fun quiz, with plenty of excitement and laughter along the way!

Thank you, Mr Lehmann, for everything you have done for our school community. We wish you every success and happiness in your new role. You will be greatly missed!

Yesterday, our nursery and schools were buzzing with excitement as we celebrated International Day! Each class represented a different country, spending the day learning about its culture, traditions, landmarks, language and food.

The day ended with a fantastic celebration where parents joined us to explore the children's work, discover fascinating facts about each country, and enjoy a delicious variety of foods from around the world.

It was wonderful to see our school community come together to celebrate the rich diversity of cultures that make our world so special. A huge thank you to all the parents and families who supported the event and helped make it such a memorable experience for our children.

⚽🏆 Congratulations to two of our fantastic pupils who helped their team Chichester Rangers U10s win the Plate Tournament! 🏆⚽

What a fantastic achievement and a wonderful reward for all their hard work, teamwork, and dedication throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of both of you for your sporting success and for being such great ambassadors for our school.

Well done to the whole Chichester Rangers U10s team on their tournament victory!
