Solving the Mad Scientist Equation as a Founder
There’s a part of being a founder that nobody talks about enough:
What happens after launch?
You have an idea.
You spend months building.
You spend money proving it.
Then you finally put the product into the world.
And now what?
Most founders prepare for branding, distribution, marketing, users, and traction.
But they rarely prepare for friction.
Not product friction.
Internal friction.
The question stops being:
Can I build this?
Will people buy it?
And becomes:
Can I sustain it?
Why is getting out of bed easy some days and difficult on others?
Why does implementing something feel effortless one day and terrible the next?
The task hasn't changed.
You have.
Your attention, energy, cognitive capacity, and ability to initiate can change from day to day.
As a founder, you aren't just building the machine.
You're also operating it.
And maybe understanding that is one of the most important equations to solve after launch.
