Today we were delighted to welcome former student Chloe back to Six Villages to share her journey from student life to an exciting career with Warner Bros. Studios' Harry Potter team.

Chloe spoke with our students about her passion for design, her education and employment pathway, and the opportunities that can come from pursuing the subjects you love. Thank you, Chloe, for inspiring the next generation and showing our students what is possible through hard work, creativity and determination.

A group of Year 8 students recently visited Fontwell Racecourse to explore the fascinating links between mathematics and horse racing.

During the trip, students had the opportunity to walk and measure the parade ring, visit the stables, and learn about the different equipment used by jockeys. They also discovered how maths is used throughout the racing industry, from measurements and timings to statistics and data analysis.

It was a fantastic experience that brought classroom learning to life and demonstrated how maths can be applied in a real-world setting.

Thank you to Racing to School for providing this fantastic opportunity.

Did You Know?

Our Academy is equipped with two Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) that could help save a life in a cardiac emergency.

📍 You'll find them: • In Main Reception • In the Sports Complex entrance lobby (accessed from the rear car park)

We have also installed two Kitt Medical adrenaline auto-injector kits for use in severe allergic reactions.
📍 Located in: • Main Reception • West Block upper corridor, outside the Food Technology room

Each kit contains four adrenaline pens: Two for people aged 6 and over. Two for children under 6

These resources are part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our students, staff, visitors and wider community safe.

Last week, staff and students came together for our Macmillan Coffee Morning, helping to raise money for the fantastic work carried out by Macmillan Cancer Support.

Pictured here is Mrs Bromley, who certainly had her eye on the cakes! 👀🧁 And this is only some of the delicious selection on offer in the staffroom. From homemade treats to classic favourites, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated. Together, we helped support an amazing cause while enjoying a well-earned sweet treat!
