What a glorious sunny day we had at Thorney Island Beach! π
Our children had the best time splashing in the water, exploring the rock pools for crabs π¦, building magnificent sandcastles, and collecting beautiful shells.
One of our favourite activities was turning those special shell finds into necklaces, as well as decorating shells and stones with acrylic pens to create treasured keepsakes to take home. πβ¨
To finish our seaside adventure, we bounced over the sand dunes, rolled all the way down, and filled the beach with giggles and smiles! π€ΈββοΈπ
A day full of sunshine, laughter, adventure, and memories we'll treasure for a long time. We can't wait for our next adventure! ππ

A beautiful time at Lordington Lavender Farm! πβοΈ
Some of our children had a wonderful adventure exploring the lavender fields. We watched busy bees collecting nectar π, breathed in the amazing scent of the lavender, said hello to the friendly animals π, and had lots of fun searching for letters in the corn maze π½π€.
The highlight of the day? A wonderfully bumpy tractor ride! π

This week we have been celebrating Chinese New Year and Pancake Day.
The children enjoyed exploring Chinese culture in a variety of hands-on ways. They had a go at writing Chinese symbols in the sand, which was a fantastic way to practise mark-making and learn about different forms of writing. In our Chinese takeaway role play area, the children loved becoming chefs and serving up delicious pretend meals to their friends. They also had great fun decorating Chinese lucky bags, developing their creativity and fine motor skills.π¨π³
On Tuesday, we celebrated Pancake Day by making delicious blueberry pancakes. The children helped with the preparation and then enjoyed eating them for snack.π₯π«
