Discover a wonderful range of work from talented local artists at the Chichester City Arts Centre, a beautiful 200-year-old Grade II listed former church in the heart of central Chichester.
Visitors can explore unique artwork, support local creatives, and enjoy the rich history and character of this stunning venue, including its beautiful gardens.
Refreshments will be available throughout the event.

We are so proud of pupils Ember and two of our ballet students who recently took part in the Bishop Luffa Sixth Form Tanzania Expedition.

Working alongside the Grassroots Trust, they spent time supporting local communities through practical projects while experiencing Tanzanian culture and gaining important life experience. You may remember Ember selling ballet themed cupcakes on one of our busy Saturday mornings at RBA Dance.

Both Ember and Alex extensively fundraised to enable them to take the trip and we are so proud of them ❤️

A reminder that there are no adult ballet classes on next week as Chichester City Arts Centre will be closed for annual maintenance. Our beginner class will break for the summer holidays and resume September 10th.

Congratulations to our Royal Academy of Dance pre-primary exam candidates! For our ballet dancers this is where their RAD journey begins with the very first Class Award. We are so proud of them 🩰

Amelie, Amelie and Tillie are a perfect example of what can be achieved when you put the work in and are consistent with your training. They attend their classes come rain or shine and it has been a privilege to watch them develop as dancers. Today they took their @royalacademyofdance Advanced-foundation which is a very challenging ballet exam. I am so proud of everything they have achieved and it is a honour to watch them dance 🩰

Our Saturdays at RBA Dance are a bustling morning of little ones’ ballet classes! We finally have spaces opening up in our pre-school session, which is our most popular class with a waiting list, due to our school starters moving up and creating some free spots.

Our 9:30am class is Pre-Primary for school starters. This is a lovely class for pupils to meet other children starting their school and ballet journey together. We have had many, now adult, students dance together since they started school, forming lifelong friendships as they move up the grades together.

Pre-Primary is the first class where children begin studying the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, where they are able to gain recognised qualifications in classical ballet.

9:00–9:30 - Pre-school age - 2½–4
9:30–10:00 - New Pre-Primary - September school starters
10:00–10:30 - New Primary - Year 1
10:45–11:30 - Primary exam - Year 2+
11:30–12:30 - Grade 1 - Year 2/3+
12:30–1:30 - Grade 2 - Year 3/4+
