What an amazing day we have had 🩰💕❤️

So many happy ballet dancers achieving wonderful exam results. I am so proud of every one and happy that we managed our largest exam session to date with 94 entered taken over 5 days!

RBA Dance is thrilled to announce that on September 10th we will be holding a series of professional ballet workshops taught by ex-professional ballet star and teacher Mr Darren Parish. Each workshop will help prepare us for our Christmas show and be followed by a voluntary audition for one of our lead roles! Make sure you book your place!

Thank you so much to our ballet families who came out on Saturday to celebrate John and I’s wedding. It was so special to celebrate something so magical in our ballet home and we really appreciate the effort you all made!
Pictured also are my fellow 2008 graduates and a small group of seniors who waitressed at our wedding! We truly are a ballet family!

On this dreary Monday afternoon our exam results came in and I am thrilled with how well the school did! This was our biggest exam session to date with 93 candidates entered from Pre-primary - Advanced-foundation! We had a 100% success rate with lots of very high marks. Well done to everyone that took part, I am so very proud of you all!!

Miss Eleanor had her last day assisting the Friday classes! Eleanor will be starting her degree studying ballet education full time at the ! Our little ones adore her and she will be missed very much 🩰💕❤️

Today my ballet teacher Terecita Marsden came to watch during watching week visiting for the first time. Without her, none of what we have now would be a reality and I am forever grateful for everything she did for me as a young dancer. It was a surreal moment to wonder if we could have ever imagined what the ballet school would become all these years later.

At RBA Dance we like to look after our ballet parents who help out at our shows, volunteered during our renovation project, run the dancers back and forth to classes and who find the money to pay for everything that’s involved with dance (it all adds up!). At our new venue the we provide two waiting areas, one indoors and one outdoors as well as refreshments, accessible access for buggies and a baby changing station. Thank you to our wonderful ballet parents for all of your support ❤️🩰

Congratulations to 5 of our ballet dancers, .amelie, , .waldronx, and Isla Moore who successfully auditioned and performed with the English Youth Ballet in April. The girls trained for over 90 hours and the show was amazing! 🩰

Graceful young swans put on performance to be proud of at Kings Theatre IT is amazing how the English Youth Ballet can take a daunting sized group of 98 local dancers, aged eight to 18-years-old, and create a truly professional performance after less than a dozen rehearsals.
