Congratulations to alumni Rebekah Joy Edwards for being promoted to a soloist in Massenet's "Manon" with Preston Opera! She was originally booked to cover two supporting roles, and has learnt the new role of Lescaut in just five days.

Huge congratulations to 2017 graduate Sarah Freer, who started rehearsals this week for Jesus Christ Superstar at the London Palladium!

Sarah trained on our BA (Hons) Music and Musical Theatre Programme from 2014-2017 and has enjoyed a successful career since leaving, with numerous contracts including Zog And The Flying Doctors - UK Tour, 2022/SpongeBob The Musical - UK Tour, 2023/Tina The Musical - West End, 2024-2025 and now JCS at the Palladium. A testament to the quality of training we offer here at University of Chichester.

Well done Sarah, we are so very proud of you!

Huge congratulations to 2017 graduate John Browning , who is currently in rehearsals to make his WEST END debut in Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre! John is an integral part of the company, employed as a standby covering the roles King George III, George Washington, Aaron Burr, Hercules Mulligan/James Madison and an ensemble track.

John trained on our BA (Hons) Music and Musical Theatre Programme from 2014-2017 and has enjoyed a successful career since leaving, with contracts on Silversea, MSC and Royal Caribbean Cruises and most recently a contract on Miss Saigon in Gothenburg, Sweden from July 2025-March 2026. The university's very own pop choir, Harmonix, is terribly excited to have their first very own concert on Thursday 23rd April!

Please do come and join these wonderfully talented young vocalists for a mix of the most popular pop songs ever, including The Beatles, Bob Marley, Elton John, Elvis, Eva Cassidy...to alphabetise just a few. It's a feelgood fiesta, you will want to sing along, and will be encouraged to do just that. Do bring your own refreshments, alcoholic or otherwise!
