For CFS Secondary pupils, remember it's an early finish - 1.50pm and there are no after school clubs for Primary and Secondary pupils on this day. However, Activ8 are still running.

We’re so excited to welcome everyone joining us for our Year 7 Open Evening on Wednesday 7th October! Doors open at 5.30pm, with talks in the Carmelite Hall at 5.45pm, 6.45pm and 7.45pm. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to explore the school, meet teachers and pupils, and discover life at CFS.

Please remember that all Secondary pupils and their primary siblings finish at 1.50pm on this day, and there are no clubs for the whole school.

Last week our Year 10 RS GCSE pupils visited Chichester Cathedral to take part in an immersive GCSE Religious Studies Day. The pupils were impeccable - they asked deep and thought provoking questions, were beautifully behaved and mature in how they conducted themselves around places of worship. The day was spent learning how two differing Churches - the Cathedral (Church of England) and Revelation Church (non-denominational) navigate the practices of baptism, communion and prayer whilst still showing a united approach through Christianity.

For some pupils it was the first time they have stepped inside a Christian place of worship, for some it was especially exciting as we had access to places in the Cathedral they always wanted to look at, including the high altar.

Two comments made about our pupils on Friday: one by the organiser, Rosie, and one of the Cathedral volunteers. Rosie mentioned how wonderful our pupils were and that all the Study Day team were impressed with how impeccable they were. One Cathedral volunteer is a retired head teacher from a local school who said 'your pupils make me want to return to teaching'. Very proud.

What a fantastic day at CFS!

It was a pleasure to welcome our local Sixth Form providers back to school today, giving our Year 11 pupils the opportunity to explore the exciting range of pathways available to them after GCSEs.

With so many options to consider, it was particularly valuable for our pupils to hear first-hand from current sixth formers about their experiences, helping to bring those choices to life and give them a real insight into life beyond Year 11.

And what a lovely surprise to see some of our former CFS pupils return as ambassadors for their colleges! Seeing them back in school, sharing their experiences and inspiring the next generation was a wonderful reminder of where our pupils' journeys can take them.

A huge thank you to Bishop Luffa Sixth Form, Chichester College, Chichester High School and HSDC for taking the time to visit, speak with our pupils and support them as they take their next steps towards an exciting future.

We are really looking forward to seeing all our Year 7 families at our "Meet the Tutor" event tomorrow. The event starts at 5pm in the Carmelite Hall and doors open at 4.45pm. Please use the Chapel entrance.

Year 2 had a fantastic visit from RepTylers and the children were absolutely fascinated by the wonderful animals they got to meet! They had the exciting opportunity to hold a range of creatures, including snakes, lizards and even adorable meerkats. The children were full of curiosity and excitement as they learnt some interesting facts about each animal and had the chance to see them up close. It was a memorable experience that the children thoroughly enjoyed!
