What a beautiful day for lakeside learning! We never take for granted how lucky we are to have this lake within our school grounds. From watersports to wildlife walks it gives all our pupils so many different opportunities.

Our newbies have been catching up. It's four weeks today since they joined their new school - how's it going so far?

It’s a big thumbs up from our new headmaster Mr Musson. Huge, happy grins from our youngest pupils in Nursery.

It’s wonderful to see all our new joiners (young and older!) settling in so well.

The W.O.N.D.E.R. of nature!

A beautiful, acrostic poem written by one of our Year 5 pupils, inspired by seeing the eagles of Alaska.

Our pupils have been finding their inner poet and exploring their imagination with Mrs Hook, our librarian.

Which artist is inspiring our Year 5 pupils?

The imaginative and wonderful Gustavo Ramirez Cruz - .r.cruz.98 - and his colourful, mesmerizing world of Bestiario! Year 5 are busy making their own compendium of wonderful critters out of papier mâché.

It all started with a trip to Marwell Zoo to sketch and start imagining.

Children at Westbourne House have a vibrant co-curricular life - art, music, sport, drama help children explore their interests, build skills and discover who they are.

Here come the girls!

A big shout out to these cross country teams who showed huge grit and determination at the cross country College.

Our junior and senior cross-country girls’ teams have had an incredible start to the term, with some pupils competing against 12 schools in races with up to 80 runners.
Facing tough terrain and huge crowds at over a fortnight of competition, their grit paid off over the 3km course with impressive team results.

Head of Girls’ Sport, Clare Cook, said: “Cross country is a total team effort and every single runner helped secure these fantastic results.”

🥇 U8 girls - first place overall for the second year running, with every runner finishing in the top 20!

🥇 U9 Girls: Took first place as a team, with ML placing first overall 🥇

🥈 U11 Girls finished with a strong second place finish

🥇 U13 girls (Years 7 & 8) finished in fist place overall, with two runners placing 9th and 10th.
