I will be running group songwriting workshops for beginners during July and August (dates and times to be confirmed). The groups will be for 12+ and adults and will be for up to 4 people per group. You will learn basic keyboard skills and chords and how to create a song from this new found knowledge! Please message if this is of interest and I will give you more details. You can also email me: [email protected].
Further workshops will be available upon completion of the beginner workshop.
Many thanks

People sometimes wonder if they’re too old to learn an instrument. Well one particular student at CMA might have some thoughts on that….

The warmest of congratulations to Michael, who, after a colossal amount of hard work, has just passed his Grade 8 piano exam with a merit at the age of 81.

A truly remarkable achievement!

Here’s me waffling to journalist Phil Hewett about the forthcoming Rock Show at the Minerva Theatre (Sat 20Jan). If you’re in the area, free and up for some top tunes from some amazingly talented children and young people (10-18) then come and support them and the largely un-funded music charity Ovation, you will not be disappointed x

Some of the finest young musical talents will converge in Chichester’s Minerva Theatre for the Ovation Rock Show on Saturday, January 20 – an evening of live music featuring children and young people aged up to 18 from local schools, Chichester Music Academy and Ovation Music
