Happy 1/2 term everyone xx

Happy May Day to you all! We have certainly celebrated the arrival of the warmer weather this week.

There has been lots of outdoor den making, as well as practicing our basketball and tennis skills. The dolls have been lovingly pushed around the garden and the mini trampettes have been well used.

Inside the cabin, our space display looks "out of this world." The children have loved creating their artwork, featuring rocket ships, a large astronaut, colorful alien figures, shooting stars, and planets. It is all surrounded by pastel drawings of galaxies and nebulae, showcasing the children's own artistic interpretations of deep space. We’ve even had UFO making and moon buggies built from our large construction toys.

Our little space explorers have been so busy that they need some well-deserved downtime now.

Have a wonderful long weekend, whether you choose to dance around a Maypole, watch the May Queen be crowned, see the Morris dancers ring their bells, or just spend quality family time together. Whatever you do, have fun!

We have had a wonderful time celebrating Easter here, and the energy has been absolutely fantastic! The children have been busy making the most of the spring sunshine with some very competitive Easter egg hunts in the garden.
Our kitchen has also been a hub of activity with some Easter cooking. The children did a brilliant job creating—and tasting—some delicious chocolate bird nests!
Finally, we held our highly anticipated Easter Egg Decorating Competition. The creativity on display was incredible, and while it was a tough decision for Aunty Margaret, we are delighted to announce our winners from each age group:

Congratulations to our winners and to everyone who took part!
The Children and us! have also loved playing with and drawing/painting our favourite Pokemon characters, we never knew there was so MANY!!!

This week we’ve been getting into the romantic spirit by preparing for Valentine's Day. The children have been very busy making and painting beautiful clay hearts to give to someone special. They have been decorated beautifully so we hope you like them.
