There is no doubt that Summer's glory is beginning to fade and autumn is on its way. This time of year always fills me with eager anticipation of the start of the autumn term.
The countryside around Chichester at this time of year reminds me of Alan Bold's poem 'Autumn', in which he personifies the season as a thief stealing the summer. The poem appeared in the June 2017 AQA English Literature exam.
