I've been revisiting some of favourite albums to get myself some inspiration for my guitar practise! Today I've been listening to The Police's first album 'Outlandos d'Amour.'
Andy Summers is a wonderful guitaris, who blends creative lead lines, bordering on Jazz, with Punk-Rock rhythm guitar. Check out the tracks 'So Lonely' for an awesome solo and 'Hole in My Life' for some tight rhythm chops!

String change day! Over the various lockdowns I've been keeping strings on a little bit longer, I've always preferred brand new strings so I'm excited for this new set. I'm also trying out Half-Rounds for the first time, I will try to get a video up next week showing you all what they sound like!

The Police are one of my favourite bands, they're all amazing musicians and great songwriters.
This song in particular is a fun one of guitar, it helps you develop your left hand fretting accuracy, gets you used to an odd stretch and helps you with your timing!
I'm just gutted I'll probably never the opportunity to see them play live! Luckily we have YouTube that goes to some way to rectifying this.

Here is a quick loop on the Baritone Guitar! I'm still getting my head around the the different tuning, the longer neck and the heavier strings! Getting more comfortable on it, but it is taking time!
For those of you who don't know a Baritone guitar is like a normal guitar but tuned lower, usually a 4th but I tune it a 5th down.
