Powers can make algebra look complicated, but if you can fully understand what it means it will make all those maths formulas ALOT easier to understand and use. 👏👏👏
That floating number, is how many times the base number is MULTIPLIED by itself.

Did you know your child's opinion if they're good or bad at Maths starts as early as at primary school?

Examiners love to get triangles into any questions they can. Don’t let them win, be prepared 💪:
☑️ Pythagoras’ Theorem
☑️ SOH CAH TOA
☑️ Cosine rule
☑️ Sine rule

Is there anything that still confuses you about these formulas? Sometimes you think you get it with these and then some horrible question will come up that will make you doubt every triangle ever again.

Right now, all I want is for you to remember these formulas off by heart. As soon as you start an exam you can write them down on the first blank page, so you can clearly see them and rely on them. We don’t want our brains to play any tricks on us during those triangle questions 🙅‍♀️.

Easier said than done, right?
If you manage to learn that little bit more, what will it mean? A place at college, sixth form, uni?? The right path to your dream job?
It’s up to you if you think you’ve reached your limit in your achievement. Get yourself a support network. Ask questions. Get stuck, find out why.

💡A quick hint, when you see Index number in BIDMAS or in standard form (if you don’t know what I’m talking about here, don’t worry, we will cover it ☺️) this is what I'm talking about, that teeny tiny number in the corner 🤓.

I truly, confidently, completely believe that you can learn every part of Maths. Every single bit. It's just about us finding your way to learn.
