Ending the week looking out over the marshes with a huge sense of gratitude. It's been a proper busy few weeks getting everything ready for September, and honestly I can't wait for what's coming. This is shaping up to be our busiest year at Bosham Tutors yet, and I'm so thankful for our brilliant tutors and the families who trust us with their children's learning.

28% of students don't pass GCSE maths in Year 11. If that includes your child, please know it is far more common than people think, and it is completely fixable.

Our November resit course is led by a Regional Lead Practitioner for Maths Teaching who is also an active GCSE examiner, so she knows exactly where marks are most commonly lost and how to close those gaps quickly. With the right support, students can make huge amounts of progress in a short space of time.

Sessions run on Monday afternoons in Bosham, and spaces are very limited. If your son or daughter needs support for their November resit, get in touch and let's have a chat about how we can help 💙

We have been busy behind the scenes!

As we head into what is shaping up to be our most exciting September yet, we have been getting everything ready for the families and students joining us this term, and that includes some very important bits of kit.

Last year we supported nearly 100 families and students in reaching their academic goals, whether that was achieving the grades they needed, catching up after a difficult period, or simply finding their confidence again in a subject that had felt out of reach. Watching that happen, again and again, never gets old.

Every tutor at Bosham Tutors is a qualified teacher. Every single one holds a current DBS certificate. Many are active examiners or have served as Heads of Department. This is not someone posting on Facebook claiming to be 'a tutor' without proper experience or qualifications, it is tutoring by design, and every family who comes to us can trust that their child is in genuinely expert hands!

So as our lanyards arrive and our doors start to re-open for September, we just wanted to say, we are (finally!) ready. Ready for the new faces, the returning students, the big exam years, the confidence builders and everyone in between 💙 Thank you for your trust!

A little overdue, but a heartfelt thank you!

The summer has been a lot. A poorly little one, some much-needed time away, and the usual end-of-year whirlwind all landed at once, along with onboarding and quality assurance meetings with not one but TWO local authorities and if our communication has been quieter than normal, I just wanted to acknowledge that and say sorry.

To our returning families, thank you for knowing us well enough to know that this isn't our usual standard, and for sticking with us anyway 💙

To our new families, thank you for bearing with us as you found your feet with us. You've been so patient and kind, and we can't wait to properly show you what we do!

And to our tutors, who kept things ticking over beautifully while I was pulled in every direction, thank you. You are the heart of Bosham Tutors and I am very lucky to work alongside you.

We're back, we're energised, and we are so ready for the term ahead. Exciting things are coming and we cannot wait to share them with you
