❤️🐞 Another amazing year at Red Room Preschool has come to an end! 🐞❤️

What a fantastic year it has been, filled with fun, laughter, learning and so many special memories.

All the staff at Red Room Preschool would like to say a huge thank you for all of our lovely gifts and kind words. Your kindness and generosity are truly appreciated.

To all of our preschool leavers, we wish you the very best of luck as you begin your next chapter at school. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and know that you are all more than ready for your new adventures. 🌟

To all of our wonderful families, thank you for your continued support throughout the year. We hope you all have a fantastic summer holiday, making lots of happy memories together. ☀️

We can’t wait to welcome our returning children back to Red Room Preschool on Monday 7th September.

What an amazing week we’ve had! 🐻❤️

This week we’ve been learning all about bears. The children had lots of fun making teddy bears using play dough, and they showed fantastic scissor control while cutting out their teddy bear pictures. We finished the week with a lovely teddy bear picnic in the woods, where everyone brought along their teddy and enjoyed sandwiches for snack together. It was such a special morning filled with smiles and laughter.

Yesterday, we also said an emotional goodbye to all of our wonderful preschoolers. They were absolutely amazing as they took part in a little sports day with ring games before proudly singing their leavers’ song to everyone. I couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them.

🌞❄️ This week at ♥️🐞 Red Room Preschool 🐞♥️ we have been following the children’s interests while making the most of the lovely warm weather.

To help everyone stay cool, the children had lots of fun exploring ice through play, cooling their feet in bowls of water, and enjoying a refreshing ice pop together. 🍦💦🧊

It has been wonderful to see so much laughter, curiosity, and enjoyment while keeping cool in the sunshine! ☀️❤️

🧡🐞 This Week at Red Room Preschool 🐞🧡
This week we have been exploring phonics, with the children learning about the sounds that their names begin with. They have loved recognising the first letter in their own names and joining in with lots of fun phonics activities.
We were also very excited to watch our butterfly hatch before carefully releasing it outside into the sunshine. It was a wonderful experience for the children to see the butterfly's life cycle come to life.
The lovely weather has meant we've been able to spend lots of time outdoors. The children have thoroughly enjoyed exploring, playing, and learning in the fresh air, making the most of our outdoor environment.
What a fantastic week of learning, discovery, and fun! ☀️🦋

This week at 🐞 Red Room Preschool 🐞

What a hot week it’s been! ☀️ Despite the warm weather, we’ve had lots of fun exploring numbers through a variety of exciting activities. We also talked about ways to keep ourselves cool and enjoyed plenty of water play and ice activities to help us stay refreshed. 💦🧊

Unfortunately, we had to close for two days as the temperatures became too high for us to safely remain open. Thank you to all our families for your understanding and support.

A huge thank you to ES mum for kindly bringing in ice pops for all the children and staff. They were very much appreciated and certainly helped us cool down! 🍦❤️

We have also been keeping a close eye on our caterpillars, and we’re so excited that they have now all turned into chrysalises! 🐛➡️🦋 The children have loved watching their amazing life cycle, and we can’t wait to see our beautiful butterflies emerge.

🌈 What a busy and wonderful week we've had! 🌈
This week, we have been exploring our emotions through The Colour Monster, helping the children identify and talk about their feelings. We have also been learning about what it means to be a kind friend and how we can show kindness to others every day. 💚

The children have worked hard creating some wonderful Father's Day cards, and we are so proud of their creativity and effort. 🎨💙

We would like to wish all of our dads, grandads, stepdads, and special father figures a very happy Father's Day. We hope you have a fantastic day celebrating with your loved ones! 💙👨‍👧‍👦

This week in Red Room, we have been exploring The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The children have loved listening to the story, tasting a variety of fruits, and creating their own fruit pictures. It has been wonderful to see their creativity and enthusiasm throughout the week.
We are also very excited to have some caterpillars in the room that we can watch grow and transform into butterflies. The children have been fascinated by observing them and learning about the butterfly life cycle.
We also took part in the Big Toddle for Barnardo's this week. The children had lots of fun taking part in the walk, and we are delighted to share that, thanks to your generosity and support, we have raised an amazing £220 for Barnardo's! 🎉
