Lowes childminding I'm a childminder with experience of messy play and I'm a scout leader. I work Monday - Friday and can be flexible to suit your needs

Im a mum of 2 children, im also a Cub Scout leader. I used to run a messy play toddler group and love nothing more than messy activities and being outdoors. I have National Trust membership and use this for day trips out with the children.

Today has been a different day and im.very greatful to my fellow childminder Beckie Lane for helping out, while I took my own child to get her hand checked following an accident.
Its so important to have a back up to help with looking after my small ones.
Thank you to beckie and little lanes childminding to helping me out.

Thankfully my child is fine and has badly bruised her hand, its not broken.

Today we went on our first little walk for our 100 challenge for the national deaf childrens society.
The children did so well and we are very proud of them all.

We started with a story about George pig and his hearing aid. This is so close to us all. One of our little ones has hearing issues and is currently going through assessments. I myself have hearing aids so the children have enjoyed seeing and hearing about my story first hand.

To get the little ones doing their part we are collectively counting the miles. So 6 of us today all walked 2.82km. Which is plenty for the little legs to cope with.

Between us we will walk the 100 miles over the month.

This morning we went to the old vicarage care home for our monthly visit and play session.
Its a lovely way to get the generations to interact. The children love having little conversations and its so nice to see the elderly people smiling at the little ones.
