Funday Friday Fun! 🎉

What a fantastic way to end the week!

Students were greeted with sweets on arrival before over 100 students took part in the first edition of Bover's Bingo in the canteen during lunch. There were plenty of laughs with some brilliant calling lines, including the crowd favourite: "Number 10, where is my pen?" 🍬✏️

Throughout the day, students also got involved in a range of fitness challenges, showing determination, resilience and plenty of competitive spirit. 💪🏃

We rounded off the day by visiting the Languages, Humanities, Health & Social Care and Computing departments, recognising and rewarding students who have been working hard and demonstrating our school values in their lessons. 🌍💻🏆

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make another Funday Friday such a success. We love seeing so many students getting involved, having fun and celebrating their achievements!

What an incredible day in London!✨

On Wednesday, a group of our students enjoyed an unforgettable trip to London, packed full of amazing experiences from start to finish!

The day began with an exciting dance workshop led by professionals at Pineapple Studios, where students had the opportunity to learn new skills, challenge themselves and experience the energy of one of the UK's most famous dance venues. 💃🕺

They then headed to the theatre to watch the spectacular Matilda, bringing the magic of the West End to life and leaving everyone thoroughly entertained. 🎭⭐

To top it all off, students enjoyed a delicious lunch at Pizza Express, giving them the chance to relax, socialise and reflect on the fantastic day they had shared. 🍕😊

We are incredibly grateful for this wonderful opportunity and the memories it has created for our students. Their enthusiasm, engagement and impeccable behaviour throughout the trip made us immensely proud. It is safe to say they absolutely loved every minute of it!

Wow! What a fantastic evening we had at our Open Evening on Monday!

It was wonderful to welcome so many families from near and far and to showcase everything that makes our school such a special place. We hope you enjoyed exploring our facilities, meeting our staff and students, and getting a real taste of life at our school.

A huge thank you must go to our incredible students. With over 100 volunteers supporting the event, leading tours and sharing their experiences with prospective students, parents and carers, they truly demonstrated what makes our school community so special. Their enthusiasm, confidence and pride in their school spoke volumes, and we could not be prouder of them.

To all our prospective parents and carers, thank you for spending your evening with us. If you have any questions or would like any further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We are always happy to arrange private tours, have telephone conversations, and support you and your child as you consider the next exciting step in their educational journey.

Discover creativity, innovation and hands-on learning in B Block!

🎨 Art (B1) – Create and personalise your own bookmark while exploring a range of artistic techniques.

🍪 Technology (B2) – Decorate a Parkside biscuit, earn your sewing machine licence, take on the herbs and spices challenge and create a personalised metal keyring.

💻 Computing (B3) – Have a go at coding, explore computer hardware and see exciting student digital projects.
