The Formation of Exclusive Training

A number of trainers who came together during the London 2012 Olympic Games decided that all the experience and skills gained should not go to waste. They realised that with the success of the London 2012 games other countries who will be hosting major sporting events would be looking at how the security and the security training of the London games was achieve

d. As the core of trainers who provided the training provision we decided to form a unique training venture offering its services to other such large events in England and abroad. Hence, Exclusive Training was formed as the brand. Exclusive Training offers a unique training provision as it is managed and operated by and for trainers, whose mission is to provide effective high-quality training and consultancy to individuals, corporate clients and major sporting events, anywhere!. Our training portfolio offers a wide and diverse range of multiple and inter-related disciplines such as; Security, Asset Protection, Close Protection, Event Security, Policing-Solutions, Aviation, Searching and Screening, Maritime, Team Leading, Management and Customer Service. Our entirely holistic approach allows us to provide our clients with comprehensive training packages that fulfil both their strategic and operational requirements. In particular, we have extensive experience working with clients in the public sector, as individual trainers (either working within public services ranging from the armed forces to local authorities or on a freelance/consultancy basis) and collectively as per our recent large-scale games experience in London. Exclusive Training are able to achieve exemplary results above-and-beyond the clients’ requirements through adaptability, professionalism and effective teamwork. This came to the forefront during our recent games experience, where we have witnessed the challenges and pressures first hand, and have consequently proved ourselves capable of being able to meet the high standards required by a prestigious event. Our participation in the games event has enabled us to understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses implicitly and – consequently - we have adapted ourselves as trainers by brigading our diverse skills and experience in order to deliver the clients’ aims effectively. Exclusive Training have pooled our resources in order to provide this same level of service to future clients, both in the public and corporate sectors in order to achieve outstanding results. The following comment, from one of the leading curriculum writers for the games shows why we at Exclusive Training believe that there is a real need for a training consortium that is able to develop and deliver a complete suite of training solutions. The curriculum writer requested that their name be withheld at this stage.

“When you, the trainers, were brought on board it was a case of just as long as they can do the training and be flexible then we are OK. However, since you (sic - the trainers) have been working with us, some of us have had to change our opinion. For you have all shown that you are more than just trainers and that you have much more experience than most of the so-called experts! For one, I have to hold my hat out to you all and without your involvement - which is more than was asked for - I do not think we would have got this far.”
