😊Had a great first week in my new role as head trampolining coach at the local sports centre😊

🏆Never did I think at the start of my teaching career I would coach in anything other than football, my teaching experiences have allowed me to gain confidence in educating others in a range of different sports, as well as math and English🏆

I have a few slots left for tutoring available over the summer :)

👨‍🏫How do my sessions work?👨‍🏫

Each of my sessions are unique, so no two lessons are the same. Here is an example of how one of my P.E. sessions may work: I work on a topic by topic basis so we will focus on a particular topic for a couple of weeks. For example: The cardiovascular system 🫀

Each session will always begin with a starter task, the aim of this is just to get our brains warmed up and ready to learn. This will be either a recap of the last weeks learning or seeing what we already know about this weeks topic 📝

Then we will move on to the new material which involves me explaining the content in a way the learner can understand using real life sporting examples. This will not be rushed and we shall only move on once the learner is comfortable with the information they’re receiving 🤓

Next I will set students off to have a go at trying an exam question for themselves, firstly I will model an answer, then give a similar question for the learner to complete. students will either talk me through the answer before writing it on paper and showing it to me, or typing it on their shared screen 🖊️

Once they have had a good go, we will go through it together and talk (or use the chat box) about any difficulties 💭

Then we will finish our lesson by talking about homework which is set at the end of each session and go over any questions they may have 🙋🏻‍♀️

📚💫Hey, I’m Ethan, I am a qualified secondary school P.E. Teacher that has recently started tutoring. I gained my QTS after working in 3 different schools, including one special educational needs school. 📚💫

🏅Aside from tutoring, I am a passionate sports coach and my main sport is football. I have coached a variety of teams for over 5 years and I have been playing football myself since I was 4 years old. ⚽️

🎾Recently I have started playing more racket sports; including Badminton, tennis and Pickleball (ask me about this one!).
