Today our lovely Yellow Door, Early Years Educational Resources resources LITERALLY stepped through the door with us and went on a little adventure! 💛🚪

We found some shade under a big oak tree and worked together to create our own little ocean jars 🌊

Our fish sensory stones are just as vibrant as the real things and their colours and patterns are mesmerising 🐠✨ Our new ocean play scenery stones were the perfect addition to our pearls, shells and glass beads which worked together to immitate intricate coral reefs 🪸🐚

The Nestlings have loved exploring this African Animal play provocation 🐘🦒 🦛

We explored fur patterns, skin textures, animal sounds and footprint tracks with our Yellow Door, Early Years Educational Resources "Let's invetigste - Safari footprints". We even added our Yellow Door "Sensory Worry Stones" for an immersive sensory experience! 🌍

Our little slice of play paradise 🏡

I forgot to share about our wonderful trip to Bramble Wood last Monday! 🥺🌿

Such a whimsical and welcoming space - I was blown away by the kindness and care that was shown to the Nestlings, both by the leaders and the attendees too! 🍄✨

2 weeks of learning about the longest day of the year have ended with a week of very warm and sunny weather 🌞
I can't help but feel like it's the best way of reminding us why the changing of seasons are so important though, and whilst a bit of sun is lovely, a little too much can quickly take effect on our bodies and nature too! 🌞 We need both summer and winter, long days and short days, light and shade!
