The day has come where we say goodbye to our year 6s.
What a journey it has been for them.
From starting school in a worldwide pandemic to leaving with so much strength and resilience.
We wish all of them huge success in their next big adventure.
Be proud of yourself and how far you have all come.

We will see all the other children back in September along with a group of new children ready to start their very first journey with us.

Take care of each other and have a brilliant summer.
Make as many core memories as you can and be safe.

Doe Lea fun days are back 😁

These days have been so successful in the holidays before.

It’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster this last week with our Year 6’s.

Wow, we are so proud of each and every one of you.

The countdown is on! We can’t wait to welcome all of our parents, carers, grandparents, family members and supporters to cheer on our amazing children at Sports Day on Friday 17th July. 💙💛

📅 Event Times
🏃 EYFS: 9.30am (gates open from approximately 9.15am)
🏃 Classes 3–6: 1.15pm (gates open from 1.00pm)

📣 Cheer your child, celebrate every achievement and enjoy a wonderful day together!

🧺 Don’t forget to bring:
☀️ Suncream
💧 A bottle of water
🪑 A camping chair or picnic blanket so you can relax while watching all the fun.

To help make the day enjoyable, safe and inclusive for everyone, please follow the Schools Sports Day guidelines:

🚭 No smoking or va**ng anywhere on the school site.
🐶 No dogs on site.
📸 Please do not take photographs or videos. This is to protect the privacy of all children and families attending.
👏 Please encourage every child taking part – a kind cheer can make all the difference.
💙 Remember, this is a family event, so let’s be respectful, supportive and help create a positive atmosphere for everyone.

👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 All children in households on Universal Credit, regardless of income, will be eligible.

Friday is Rainbow Day when children can wear their own style 🌈🌈🌈

🛑Unfortunately due to safety we have a no Crocs or flip flops policy and no jewellery 🛑

The forecast looks like it’s going to be hot again towards the end of the week so send plenty to drink and children can come in PE kits with caps/hats to stay cool 😎

Arbor Issues

We are aware of a number of issues with Arbor and Arbor are working to try and fix these.

Some of the known issues are:

Apple users push notifications not working - please check the app regularly until things are fixed.

Logging in - some people are having trouble logging in, if this is the case please use the website browser version of Arbor rather than the app. This should also resolve any issues around booking school meals, clubs and making payments.

Delay in school receiving in app messages - we have noticed today that there is an approximate 2 hour delay with messages appearing in the inbox. If you need to get a message to school urgently please ring the office or email [email protected]
