I am a registered Childminder based in Brockwell, Chesterfield I intend to provide a happy and safe environment for children to progress and develop. I have two rooms and a spacious garden with various toys for the children to play with. We will go on outings to local parks, toddler groups, farm parks and on woodland walks. Indoor activities will include baking, crafts, singing and reading. I will be doing school runs to and from Brockwell nursery and infants school.

Thank you for tidying up most nights as I have gone to work at the pub.
For putting up with the constant mess.

I have to do a post all on its own for this one.
I started childminding when Klara was 2 and a half years old.
To start off with she had to share her toys which is hard for most kids but she did it.
She has taken every child and treated them like a brother or sister.
She has rocked the babies to sleep.
She has helped me clean and tidy after the kids have gone home, she has helped me prepare crafts.
She has held me when I have cried.
She has never ever once complained about my job.
Today she has cried, today she is lost, today she already misses the fun and the activities.
She has genuinely loved every single person that's walked through our door.
She has a heart of gold.
She has always been my strength through the good and bad.

Little Seahorses Childminding has now closed its doors for the last time.
We have finished with fun at air Haus and indoor climbing in meadowhall followed by a cheeky fast food tea.
Over the last 9 years I have had 44 children walk through my door, some have stayed months, some have stayed years.
We have had many adventure, lots of messy play, there have been crafts and games, lots of reading and singing.
We have had laughter, we have had tantrums and lots of tears ( not just the kids).
I would like to thank all the parents who have trusted me with their children and their early learning development and onwards.
I managed to get two good ofsted reports in the time I have been open.
I would like to thank Kathy Chapman who has been by my side ( from a distance 😜) from the very beginning, we have messaged each other every morning a word of support or advice. Every first aid course we have done together.
For 6 years I worked with Emma Lowe, thank you for the craziest times and the support in those years.
It's now time for me to make our home a home, look after my health as we start a new chapter as a family.
