It’s arrived a little later than usual so we could include one very special moment—Mrs. Burnside’s unforgettable arrival on her final day as Headteacher. After 13 wonderful years of leading our school, it seemed only right to capture such a fitting send-off.
This edition also celebrates our students’ fantastic achievements, curriculum enhancement activities, Duke of Edinburgh successes, Whittington Wins, and includes important summer diary dates and holiday information.
Wishing all of our families a safe, happy and restful summer. Enjoy reading:

🌞 Hot weather alert: don’t forget your water bottle!
With temperatures set to climb this week, now’s the perfect time to make sure a water bottle is packed and ready for school each morning. Our water refill stations are always available around school, so students can keep topped up throughout the day.
No fancy bottle needed – a clean reusable drinks bottle will do the job perfectly. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and enjoy the sunshine! 💧😎
