Here’s a sneaky peak at what our Autumn Term has in store for you all. Spaces are limited in some sessions already

We’re going faceless!

This is something that I’ve been pondering for quite a while but I’ve been unsure how to make it work and still manage to share the Baby Sensory and Toddler Sense joy. However, others across the UK have done this successfully and shared their top tips.

Based on this, I’ve made the decision that from now on, when photos are taken in class or sent to us, they won’t be shared on social media if they show anyone’s face, even if you have consented to photos being taken. I will however share images where faces aren’t visible or cover/blur every visible face.

For a little while I will continue to use photos I’ve used in the past that include my boys as they have been used before but I will phase these out as I get new images to replace them.

There will also be images showing faces if they are produced from images taken on official photo/video days specifically for promotional use.

It will remain the case that you are welcome to take and share photos of your own children ensuring that no other children are visible in the images.

I feel this is the right step for my little business in the current climate.

💚 CAN NEWBORNS REALLY BENEFIT?

💛 Yes! Baby Sensory has specifically been designed for babies from birth. Many people are unsure whether they take anything in. The firm answer is YES they do…even if they’re asleep!

🧠 The newborn’s brain contains more than 100 billion brain cells. The majority of synaptic connections for vision, language, hearing, smell, taste, movement and learning will be formed in the first three months of life. Synaptic connections are formed as a result of actions, events and experiences that the baby encounters from birth. These connections are strengthened whenever the newborn sees their carer’s face, hears the sound of their voice or feels the softness of their skin. Eventually, these connections will become hard wired to form memories.

🟢 Babies need to experience shapes, colours, and objects at varying distances for the brain to learn how to see. The ‘prime time’ for visual development is from birth. Babies also need exposure to a variety of sounds from birth, so that the brain learns to process information received by the ears.

💛Baby Sensory classes provide parents with essential information, techniques, ideas for play and one-to-one activities; so that they know how to foster their baby’s learning potential from the very beginning.
