Collaboration is at the core of all my tutorials - I wholeheartedly believe that sessions have to be a collaborative experience in order to be successful and enjoyable for my students. All sessions are tailored to students’ individual requirements. An essential aspect of my tutorials is to create a welcoming and compassionate atmosphere where students can experience a focused, but supportive style of learning/development. I am mindful that parents need full visibility around plans, strategies and progression/outcomes of sessions. It is crucial to maintain an evaluative, open and honest approach with parents to achieve an all-inclusive experience for both parent and student. I have a strong background working with adults and children diagnosed with ASD and learning disabilities. I am trained in child protection, positive behavioural support, epilepsy, first aid and mental health awareness.
