☀️SUMMER PARTY☀️

You are all very much invited to celebrate our 100th Event this Sunday 9th August at 9am

Free 2km event for all 4-14 year olds

🌺 weve got free leis, flower hairclips, bracelets & headbands and summer glasses at the start for all PARTICIPANTS
Please collect ONE from the table at the start to run in

🧊weve got free icepops for all PARTICIPANTS at the finish

🫧weve got bubbles 💦water spray stations (bring your own water pistols too!) And 🎵music round the course

⭐️ wear something summery or fancy dress and help us put on a fabulous run to celebrate our 100th event

👂briefing starts at 9am please listen to the briefing especially if its busy! Parents also please listen during the briefing & if youve got any questions or need anything clarifying thats the time to do it!

👟 remember if it's your first time we dont mind if you want to run, jog or walk but register with parkrun to get your barcode to bring with you either printed, a screenshot on a phone or on the app!

🦺 the event is 100% volunteer run - if you'd like to volunteer let us know and if you have any questions on the day find a high vis hero!

Early shout out for volunteers this week as we need 6 marshals!

Also we can finally reveal the NEW milestone wristbands for completed runs AND volunteer credits!!
Theyve changed it to 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100 so not too dissimilar but the designs are pretty cool! Plus new tshirts!
(Tshirts are available to purchase from the parkrun shop at parkrun.org.uk once milestones are achieved. Wristbands are given out for free at the event.)

💦WET AND WILD WEEK THIS SUNDAY 12TH JULY 💦

Bring your water guns, squishy water balls, anything watery & fun! Dress for wet & wild! Do crazy hair! Come and have fun!

Bubble 🫧 machine
Get sprayed 💦 by our marshals round the course

Whilst its warm lets have a super fun wet & wild week with a treat at the finish

We are also currently learning some useful BSL each week & making our junior parkrun more accessible to all ☺️

Whether its your first time or your a regular join in (& get your parents up after the football 😅!) To enjoy some fun this week together!
